Keep archived files in your own storage.
ArchiveBridge works with S3-compatible storage services. You pay ArchiveBridge US$24 per TB a month for management, before tax. Your storage provider bills you directly.
Setup
Connect it in four steps.
Create a bucket
A bucket is a named container for files. Make one for ArchiveBridge.
Create an access key
ArchiveBridge uses this key to reach your storage. Limit the key to that bucket.
Enter the details
In the console, enter the endpoint (your service’s web address), region, bucket name and both parts of the key.
Save, then test
Press Test connection to check that ArchiveBridge can reach the bucket.
Good to know
Your bucket stays yours.
- ArchiveBridge gets one access key with full access to that bucket, never your storage account login.
- That access key is encrypted at rest with a certificate-protected key ring and kept separately from the database.
- Files stay where you put them, as ordinary files under their original names and folders. If you leave, restore first: the links left in SharePoint need ArchiveBridge.
- Encryption at rest for those files follows your provider’s settings.
The trade-off. Locked copies (compliance mode, 1 to 90 days) need a paid account on our managed storage, not your own bucket.
