Figures in USD, ex tax. Savings count only storage above Microsoft’s documented pooled allocation (1 TB + 10 GB per licence, or your entered figure). ArchiveBridge all-in is management + object storage (US$34/TB/mo; bring your own storage and pay management only), no egress. Microsoft overage US$0.20/GB. Your scan returns the exact reclaimable volume and a dollar estimate at these stated rates.

How the calculator works

Reading your storage cost.

The included allocation it subtracts first

Microsoft pools SharePoint storage at 1 TB per tenant plus 10 GB per eligible licence (Microsoft’s SharePoint limits documentation, last verified July 2026). The calculator subtracts that allocation before counting any overage — only storage above the pool costs you anything. Not every licence type adds the 10 GB (frontline and some kiosk plans don’t), so if you know your tenant’s exact allocation from the Microsoft 365 admin centre, enter it above and the calculator uses your figure instead.

The Microsoft rate it compares against

SharePoint storage over the pooled allocation is billed at roughly US$0.20/GB/month via the Office 365 Extra File Storage add-on — about A$290 (US$200) per terabyte per month. That's the number the calculator holds cold data up against.

Why the cold-data slider matters most

You don't archive everything — only the aged files nobody opens. In most tenants that's the majority of the volume. The cold-data slider sets how much of your total is archivable; the savings scale directly with it.

What ArchiveBridge charges instead

Management is A$29/TB/month with your own Wasabi or Backblaze B2 bucket, or A$49/TB/month all-in if we host the storage — metered daily, no per-seat licences, free restores. The gap between that and the Microsoft rate is your saving.

This is an estimate — the scan is exact

Every assumption above is stated and checkable. A free read-only scan reads your real tenant and returns the exact reclaimable volume, with a dollar estimate at the stated rates — your actual saving also depends on your licence mix and Microsoft contract pricing. The estimate exists only to tell you whether the scan is worth five minutes.
